Incidental sidenote on pathauto

If you take off transliteration, it breaks on special characters (chopping off my name so that blog paths become blog/benjamin-melan/title-of-agaric-blog-post, for instance).

However, if you turn on transliteration again in pathauto settings, and go and edit the node -- and here's the cool part -- uncheck the auto path alias box, delete what was created, and re-check the auto path alias box, your path alias will be created correctly.

Then (if your settings are like Agaric's, and a new alias is created in addition to old ones) grab the Find path module and delete that lousy path before it gets indexed.
