Resources and organizations of interest to Drutopia development

Drutopia is an initiative to build software for grassroots groups, in part funded and hosted by a platform cooperative.

Indieweb.org, home of the IndieWeb movement and IndieWebCamps to build the independent web. Focus on design first (good UX as the overriding concern in defining minimal formats to achieve a good experience for people interacting across independent sites), principles (and protocols) over project-centrism, and showing with prototypes rather than describing.
Redecentralize.org: An organization dedicated to decentralizing the Internet to make it resilient, private, and competitive/innovative.
