Snoopy is a bookmarklet for snooping on web pages [...] on mobile browsers (such as Mobile Safari on the iPad) where you can't view-source to poke around under the hood of sites to see how they're built. [...]

Using the bookmarklet will give you an overlay featuring information that Snoopy can 'sniff' out of the page, such as the doctype, what JS libraries are used in the page, what analytics, what font embedding technique is used, etc. It also gives you the ability to view the raw and/or generated source of the page.

A collection of the best open data sets and open-source tools for data science, wrapped in an easy-to-use REST/JSON API with command line, Python and Javascript interfaces. Available as a self-contained VM or EC2 AMI that you can deploy yourself.

I've had several people ask me recently how I managed to get the nice date effect on my blog headers. It's quite simple really. All you need is:

* An Image - A background image (a CSS Sprite) which contains the days, months and years.
* Some HTML - A VERY basic HTML template.
* Some CSS - To align the image sections.
* A PHP Snippet - A Drupal preprocess function.

In other words: Stop trying to be fit, and start trying to live fit.

Second, of course, is to stand more throughout the day. These strategies will get you up on your feet more often:

Strategy #1: Take two breaks an hour. Grab a drink from the water fountain. Pop over to the cube next door to say hi. Or simply stand and stretch for a minute. A European Heart Journal study of 5,000 men and women found that the quarter who took the most breaks during the day were 1.6 inches thinner than the quarter who took the least.

When you think twice about the problems you're facing, then you'll realize, yes, you are a leader, too. You won't be able to do everything on your own. But you are able to inspire others to change things. They might only need a little feedback to approach it correctly.

This sort of inspiration is called "mentoring". And, I'd like to turn it into a campaign that everyone can and should participate in. Just (carefully) cherry-pick up to 5 people, who are following you, and ask them whether they'd like to learn a lot more.
