Firefox has built-in search of visited sites' names

This piece of Agaric is blogging the obvious because I searched for a Firefox extension to search its history of visited sites.

Just go to History, and the last option: "Show in sidebar" to have access to the history searchbar.

However, there is one significant drawback to this history search: it only finds keywords in the title of sites visited, not the URL.

So we at Agaric still want more...

Agaric will be waiting for Firefox 3...

I was going to file a feature request over at bugzilla.mozilla.org, but it turns out that the whole way that Firefox 0-2 deals with history data is the worst approach in the history of the universe, period:

Check out that four year thread. This is where I think making it easy for people put up money for specific fixes could really help open source free software get some additional important stuff done...
