Re: [drupal.org] World Social Forum 2008 site, great initiative!!

Hi Martijn,

Yes, we will be giving every bit of code and configuration back on Drupal.org

The SVN repository is public also.

We'd be happy to give you the Places vocabulary populated by the participants of WSF2008. Remind us right when you need it-- the later it is, of course, the better and more complete it will be ;-)

(On the other hand, note that it is stored within taxonomy. So that it has to be extracted from all the other taxonomy terms, which isn't difficult, but then it has to either be the first vocabulary you use on your site or you need an import script to turn the term IDs it has into term IDs that will work on your site.)

best,

benjamin

Hi Ben,

I emailed your SEO guy, so I am in touch now to get your site the best
Search Engine Friendliness!

By the way, is it true you will give back the whole instance, including all
the modules and module-settings to the drupal community? That would be great
and in mine perspective the 100% open source thinking!!

Could I also may be get the taxonomies filled in you are using? Say the
world countries, areas, cities..etc Because I also am bussy with a worldwide
positive initiative www.isnow.in This is to be able to give the homepeople
information on travelling relatives, so they are less worried when you are
on travel. Like http://martijn.isnow.in/heiloo (my hometown in the
netherlands :)
I yesterday joined the dutch drupaljam session and showed your great
initiative, may be some other guys join in to help you off.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Could luck with this positive project!!

Greetings,
Martijn
