Scott McCabe

Hi, Dan. If you don't recognize my name. I'm the guy who walked out of
the bar/restaurant after the last Natick Drupal meetup without paying my
share (and I still apologize for it). :-)

While I know the basics of all of the facets of building our project, The
QOR Club, I don't think I can realize our vision on my own (it's just too
much work for one person). Basically, I need to find the right team to do
my bidding, and I'm searching among the local Drupal community to see who
would be a right fit for our project.

I would like to find some time this week, if possible, to sit down with
you (and any other Agaric member you feel should be present) to explore
Agaric's possible role in our project and what it would cost us, etc.

Unavailable for most of today, I will be available between tomorrow after
noon and Design 4 Drupal on the weekend.

Maybe we can find an opportunity for me to repay my debt too! I was a big
fan of the Delerium Tremens I didn't pay for yet, and I'm looking forward
to another. :-)

Scott McCabe's own profile:

Early in my life, it seemed I was to become a professional electronic musician, graduating from Berklee College of Music in 1995. In an effort to maintain complete freedom to explore musical realms, and unable to meet people sharing my dream, I turned to technology to help me in an entrepreneurial pursuit.

While that pursuit continues, I've informally learned a lot about art, business, and technology. In short, I'm a hacker.

In addition to composing, producing, and engineering professional sounding electronic music in my apartment bedroom, I have a fair amount of skill using Adobe Photoshop, have developed some decent writing skills, and have barely scratched the surface on the video front.

My business knowledge includes some accounting, intellectual property (copyright and trademark), and public relations.

Within the technology facet, I assembled my own PCs, have hacked together a handful of Web applications (basically being an intermediate in PHP, xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL), placing as much focus as I can on security. I was the information technology department at a small law firm from 1997-2003, so I have some knowledge in networking too. I'm now deeply immersed in Drupal.

Add a love for exploring the workings of reality itself, theoretical physics, yoga, and an undying embrace of the naturally-given, unalienable right to liberty and the need to properly secure it, and you have a good fundamental knowledge about me.

I hope to also have some time to create a basic personal website (using Drupal, of course), so I can fill in the "Website" field of this profile.
