One of my mentors last year summer of code project

An aside on flk's Views Scheduler module

Best thing about Summer of Code is connecting you with other Drupal programmers to be mentors.

This has no bearing on CMT but I wanted to post it somewhere!

fago: flk: you wrote the views scheduler right?
flk: fago: yeap
fago: flk: ah great. I thinking of trying it out for a long time.. ;)
flk: hehe, just updated a few weeks back to d5.
agaric: flk: nice.
fago: flk: great. So one could specifiy, a view and an action and when the action should be applied to all nodes of the view?
flk: its all right....it could do with some improvements (all the ideas i had for it, yet not enough time to implement lol)
flk: fago: exactly
flk: you can have a group of nodes in a view and apply action to that view
flk: using the cron you have it run the actions automatically.
agaric: Too cool!
fago: really cool, yes :)
flk: if we take the example of a newspaper....they can assign articles to a view, schedule that view and have say the top 4 articles published everyday @ 12am
