How to Unpublish Content
Gus helped a client who wanted a quotation to no longer appear in the rotation for a random quotation block.
Dear client,
Yes, you can delete the quote. Though you probably would simply want to unpublish the quote instead of deleting it. This way you can use the quote in the future without having to re-enter it. If you go here:
http://example.com/admin/content/node
you can see all of the content that is published on the site. Under "Only show items where" select the type to be "Quote" and then click on filter and you will see all of the Quotes that have been created show up.
Next you can go ahead a put a check mark in the box next to the quote that you would like to delete or unpublish. After that you can select what you want to do with the item that you have just selected. So look right below the filter where it says "Update options" and select unpublish or delete, and then click on update and the quote will no longer appear. Let me know if you have any questions about this procedure.
Extremely explanatory e-mails... another thing that is the Agaric way.
Resolution
More like this
- Drupal search unpublished content
- Style within content in Drupal: use standard HTML tags
- Use hook_theme for new theming functions and templates; use hook_theme_registry_alter to take over existing ones
- Provide an 'Add New' link on a simple view for easily creating more content to list
- Display a Drupal login form anywhere with PHP, including in page content
