No Scrolling Tabs in Firefox 2: using really advanced configurationNo Scrolling Tabs in Firefox 2: using really advanced configuration

Firefox 2 got you blue? You know it's much better, you like it, but there are just a couple things that are different from Firefox 1.5...
For the fearless, there's a step way beyond the "advanced" tab under Firefox's preferences.
There's about:config
Just type that into the address bar, and see way more options than you've ever wanted to see with no documentation whatsoever.
In this case, it seems that setting tabs minimum width (something tabs.minwidth something, just put tabs in about:config's search bar at the top and look through the options) should do the trick of bringing back Firefox's squooshing of tabs behavior, which endeared itself to those like myself who have about 40 tabs open. In each window.
More like this
- Documenting a Drupal site using the Advanced Help module
- Drupal Calendar Implemenation with Organic Groups, Date, Views, Panals 2, Mini Panel, and Tabbed Mini Panel
- BUEditor preventing firefox from reloading text in textarea following use of back button
- Using TextWrangler for Drupal coding: changing tab to two spaces
- Really, really close to Zing Auction launch
