InternetBar.org Institute- taking over a Moodle site

Thanks Ed.

We probably would be best served by a backup of the MySQL database and
knowing which version of Moodle is running. We don't run Plesk (or any non
open source software) on our servers. As it's a control panel designed to
section off parts of a server from one another, perhaps we could be given
the login and export the database ourselves.

If you want, I can contact Chris Burbul about this directly.

I'm not sure I mentioned on the phone, though I meant to, that social change
is very much in our aim also-- specifically to help all people have the most
control possible over their own lives. This is to me a practical
manifestation of justice, liberty, well-being and progress, and hints that a
basic equality is necessary for all.

My thoughts on law in this regard is it shouldn't be an impenetrable domain
of experts protected by jargo... but web developers haven't got one inch of
moral high ground here!

On IBO institute an administrative login would be most helpful in
preparation for hosting the site. Our hosting will cost less than what
you're paying now, but it sounds like site development and maintenance has
been donated. That we won't be able to match!

We may want to stay with Moodle for the long term-- I know there's been a
lot of effort to integrate Drupal and Moodle -
http://groups.drupal.org/node/3368 - so clearly Moodle has a lot to offer in
the education-specific area-- doesn't seem IBO Institute is using these
features yet though.

By the way, currently some courses list one price in the info text and
another as the actual cost. http://iboinstitute.org/course/enrol.php?id=10
