DemocraticMedia.ca post-campaign checklist

  1. In IE when someone trys to submit a group as a member the form is way down at the bottom of the page ? same for the when I submit a blog - looks like it gets squished out.
  2. Could we have a the Media in the Media in a block?
  3. Any suggestions on the front page set up now. I think we want to highlight a few ?Feature Campaigns? and then maybe have our posts featured. I guess I could just format the front page so that it lists some featured campaigns.
-perhaps at the top we also list our media in media feed and blog feed split half and half.
    • Panels.
  4. Some of the links in the members page are hitting the other list: http://democraticmedia.ca/members
-can we make these links wrap instead?
  5. Right now when I share our site on facebook it shares info about the mail list block. Can we have it not default to this, but rather share whatever is on the page.
  6. Could we have our Media in The Media feed emailed to people once a week? Go here http://www.publicbroadcasting.ca/
-look halfway down the page on the right side there is the ability to subscribe to the feed by email -powered by Feedburner. Could we offer something like this?
    • Theoretically, absolutely... searching for:
subscribe to drupal aggregator feeds by e-mail
drupal aggregation and subscriptions modules- together in unholy matrimony?

subscribe to drupal rss using various services

  7. in our press area could we have it split so that there is space for the press releases and below for 'CDM in the news' - like here: http://freepress.net/content/press
    • Panels.
  8. Could we have a new news section that doesn?t display anywhere publicly ? something that we might title ?media news? ?where would post our own selection of media news. We will add this to the Media in the Media feed ? so we can add our own media posts that aren?t blogs or press releases.
    • Apparently Steve figured this out; I hope he'll explain it to me...
