Clipboard manager with snippets for Ubuntu?

Searched words:
linux clipboard utility ubuntu snippets manager GNU Linux pasteboard clips clip snip save key text clippings paste common commands Gnome snippet snippets manager ubuntu copy paste ubuntu text clips code clippings

Mac! But not Linux! Clyppan is what i'm using now. Adequate but history-only. See http://sourceforge.net/projects/qsnip/ for selected clippings and history.

Glipper, installable through the graphical package manager, is only a clipboard history and isn't doing it for me; it's not even as good as Clyppan.

Just inside Vim
