This was something that used to work and got broken as the Calendar acquired more features. I just committed a fix to the dev version of the module that should make it possible to use a non-calendar argument in front of calendar arguments, which will let you dynamically filter the calendar by whatever that argument is.
Resolution
More like this
- Calendar views issues with breadcrumbs and arguments
- Drupal Calendar Implemenation with Organic Groups, Date, Views, Panals 2, Mini Panel, and Tabbed Mini Panel
- Hook theme registry alter issue takes away entire site theme
- Another reason user module needs to be rewritten... or maybe this is just a file handling issue
- Date and Calendar or Event module for WSF?
